Ciao
I am Francesca!
I spent long time crossing coutries. I travel with imagination, planes and trains, photography translates my experiences into stories.
I lived in London in my twenties for almost 8 years, there I began to take my first steps into photography,
taking evening classes and practicing in photography studios. Now I live in Italy in a small town, between countryside and sea.
I am a mother, I love markets, the scent of bread, smell the roses. Big cities fascinate me, in bookstores I dream, in front of a madonna I pray. I’ d love a living room with high ceilings, a greenhouse in the woods, a fireplace and a record player always on.
I hand made things, I write on paper notebooks. Smiles are good for me.
I photograph humans, food, interiors, flowers, still life using digital and analog cameras.
I love using films, they leave me with a sense of undefined, and allow me to work with more dilated times.
I try to capture the magic and complexity of the world, encouraging others to rediscover the joy and beauty that often go unnoticed.
My work is a reflection of my travels, my experiences and the way I see and live the world.
Among my projects, Cinema Italia is a collection of moments, a fragmented and timeless photography journey in Italy,
now my grandparents' beloved home became an extension of my art, a creative studio, where I also organize workshops.
If you are interested and would like to talk about projects where my photography resonate with you
